Achieve a Sense of Comfort, Safety, and Accessibility in the Community
PathWays provides fully handicapped-accessible homes that offer safety and comfort to disabled individuals. Our single level homes offer plenty of space to move freely inside and out. The decor reflects the personalities of the individuals who live at each home.
From the help of three successful HUD grants, PathWays provides three-bedroom, ranch-style homes that are completely handicapped-accessible and built in the local community for individuals looking to live independently. Each of our HUD homes has the following accommodations:
- No steps
- Lowered kitchen sinks
- Walk-in shower with hand rails and a fold out seat
- Bathtub with grab bars
Each home was built with an open living design between the kitchen, dining area, and living room, so that you can easily maneuver your way through the home. Each bedroom has a walk in closet with bars for hanging clothes as well as shelving for other items. A large garage provides cover for our wheelchair-accessible vehicle.
